About Me

My Background

My name is Hannah Wing and I am a junior at the University of Florida, double-majoring in Economics and Sustainability and minoring in French. In 2022, I studied abroad at SKEMA Business School in the South of France, where I studied French and International Business. At UF, I am a CLAS Undergraduate Mentor and a member of the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi.

Growing up, I lived on a sailboat in the Caribbean for 2 years while completing online school. My tutoring background starts with "tutoring" myself during that time. In high school, I was involved in NHS, the French National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (math honor society), Best Buddies, and I founded the Yoga Club and the Girls in STEM club.

My Expertise

I have 8 years of experience tutoring various subjects, focusing mainly on math. I've had a lot of practice teaching students from many different backgrounds, and adjusting to their style of learning. Sometimes all you need is for something to be explained in a different way, which my insight from being both a student and tutor can provide.

Personalized Lessons

My goal is to make my students' lives easier. I don't believe in hours upon hours of re-reading the textbook to study. I look forward to working individually with each student and finding a study method that works best with them, so they can learn and review efficiently. I am available to tutor general study skills, English, science, history, and math up to pre-calculus.
